About the Artwork:
I remember the day that I painted this piece. I was living in Uptown Chicago, and it was a beautiful summer day. I stretched the canvas myself and took it outside on my balcony and painted away. I didn’t think too much, I didn’t analyze the quality, I just painted. I felt the most free I had felt in a long time. This painting marked a turning point in my life where I had recently decided to follow my passions and become a working artist. It is still to this day one of my favorite paintings that I created because so much good energy and passion went into it. The original will stay in my personal collection but the fine art prints capture the quality brilliantly.
