About the Artwork
The Space Between Us is a very special set of two paintings, as I work through the grief and loss of the love of my life and partner, Jeff. Almost nine months later, it still feels like yesterday that I held his hand in mine as he took his final breaths. Unbearable still and always, I am in search of light, hope and purpose while I’m stuck here in this world without him. I often imagine that Jeff is somewhere beautiful in the spiritual realm waiting for me to come home to him. Although the space between us seems endless right now, when the universe is ready, I believe that our souls will be joined together again.
