About the Artwork

This painting was inspired by a walk along the beach, just after a storm had passed. The light began to break through the clouds in a rather magnificent way. It felt like hope after despair, light after darkness, a sign that there is something greater beyond this world that slowly guides us back to a place of peace after the most difficult of times.
