Now more than ever, I have realized the importance of not only creating from the heart, but sharing my story with others. We as human beings are very complex creatures. We experience so much in this short lifetime; profound joy, profound sorrow and grief, unimaginable tragedy for some, and often we hold it all in for a plethora of reasons - upbringing, society norms, culture, and sometimes simply for the sake of maintaining peace within ourselves.

As I've grown older and experienced more of life, I've come to realize that what matters most in the end is sharing your life and your story. Whether it's with a handful of people you trust or with a wider community, those connections are what fill your heart and soul. They carry you through life's darkest moments and make its greatest joys even more meaningful.

As I’ve mentioned in previous blog posts, I often feel disconnected from society after the loss of my other half, but being able to share our story has helped me to heal somehow. I’m not really sure why, I guess I’m still figuring that part out. All I know is that if you have the courage to share your story, it may become the light that helps someone else find their way. And that I know to be true.
