A Love Note to My Soul Feeders
The Connections that Remind Me Why I Create
In the Art Studio (July 2026)
What if the most meaningful part of our journey isn’t the path we walk, but the moments where our footsteps meet someone else’s?
We each carry our own unique footprint through life. Some paths may look similar, but no two are ever exactly the same. Our deepest connections are born through shared experiences and emotions—whether joy, anger, sadness, despair, or, more often than not, a combination of them throughout a lifetime. Those connections are what matter most. They are what feed the soul.
I have been grateful to walk a beautiful path — one that allows me to use my gift, do what I love for a living, and share my story through my artwork. Like you, my story changes from one chapter of life to the next. But what has remained constant are the connections I’ve made by sharing my work. They are what feed my soul and, in many ways, what have carried me through some of my darkest moments.
As you may have guessed, being a creator is not always glamorous and is often far from easy. But for some of us, creating is as essential as the air we breathe. It is an innate calling that cannot be ignored. In the few moments when I have felt like giving up, one which happened very recently, I think of the connections I’ve made with you—my soul feeders—and I’m reminded that the work I do matters.
Perhaps it matters even more than we realize.
With love and gratitude,
Daniela
