About the Artwork
The Snowy Owl is often associated with wisdom, guidance, protection and magic. I felt very drawn to this owl for my next piece. Perhaps after dealing with such great loss this year, I am in need of wisdom and guidance in how to move forward. Perhaps I am in need of protection from the cruelty in this world, and a reminder for hope that there is just as much good as there is tragedy. And most of all, I am in need of a bit of magic right now, as I search for signs from those closest to me who have crossed over, hoping that they are at peace and safe. If you have experienced great love and loss, this feathery little friend might be just the thing you need to offer comfort and stillness.
